Remembering Ann McGuirk (née Maguire) (1940-2022)

We at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre are deeply saddened by the death of Ann McGuirk. Ann had a close connection with Annaghmakerrig House. She came to work for the Guthries when she left school, and remained with them until 1972.

Ann then joined the team when the house opened as The Tyrone Guthrie Centre in 1981 and remained with us until her retirement in 2005.

Deeply loved by her colleagues and resident artists alike, she was a valued friend that will always be remembered for her sense of fun, and her love of Annaghmakerrig. We will miss her terribly.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Ann's family. May she rest in peace.
