Returning Residents

We love to welcome our residents back to The Tyrone Guthrie Centre. However, we do not take bookings over the phone. Returning residents and former bursary holders should email info@tyroneguthrie.ie to request our Returning Residents / Returning Bursary Holders form. We will endeavour to offer you the dates requested, but please do suggest alternatives, just in case!

Cancellation dates

From time to time we offer cancellation dates to returning residents, and those who have not yet been resident but have received their approval letter from us. We advertise these dates in our Newsletter, The Guthrie Gazette, and on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages, on a first come, first served basis. The dates come about very quickly and are thus best suited to those living and working on the island of Ireland.

You can sign up for the Guthrie Gazette below.

Payment

When dates are confirmed, we will send you an invoice for payment via bank transfer. Invoices must be fully paid one week prior to arrival to the Centre. We will return full payment for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of due date of arrival. We reserve the right to withhold a cancellation fee of 75 euro for cancellations made within 24 hours of due date of arrival.

I attended two residencies at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre and completed my memoir, Fractured, there…many thanks for being able to work and stay at this remarkable place.

Susan Mockler - Author

I cherish the time I spent in a number of residencies at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre. As a budding composer, having the freedom and space to focus on my craft helped me to find my voice within the contemporary Irish traditional music landscape.
