We are delighted to annouce that we have received a wonderful gift from Donal Synnott, former Director of the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin.
Donal has donated a wonderful array of herbacous perennial plants, thinned out from his own garden, to the Centre. We are absolutely delighted with the 'Synnott Gift', as the plants will help our pollinators, our birds, and our wildlife, as well as adding to the beauty and tranquility of the grounds. We would like to acknowledge and thank Donal for his gift.
We would also like to thank Valerie Waters, former gardener at the Centre, who mediated the gift on our behalf, and Brian Synnott who, along with Donal and Valerie, assisted us to plant over forty specimens in our garden.
