We are delighted to announce that the winner of our 'Debi O'Hehir Bursary for a Painter, Sculptor, or Printmaker on the Island of Ireland' is sculptor and installation artist, Claire McCluskey.  Claire will join us in 2022 to take up her two week residency in our Big House, with use of a visual art studio. Claire intends to 'develop a new body of work taking a local holy well (the Jaundie well near Stonebridge, Co Monaghan) as my starting point to explore the psychological power of water within a community, how it carries significant material associations (as in the cure) and how this relates to global material and ecological crises.' The bursary has been made possible through the generosity of artist and former frequent resident at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Debi O'Hehir (1962-2015).
